Each hotel guest accommodation is tastefully decorated with beautiful wall coverings, fabrics and original antiques. All feature armoires, spacious private baths and queen size beds.  All of our suites feature a 27" flat screen television. All of our standard guest rooms do not have televisions.

Lodging rates are subject to change without notice. Fireplaces are Seasonal.

Pet Policy
The Inn welcomes your well behaved furry friends. A onetime fee of $20 will be added to your bill at the end of each stay. A maximum of two dogs per room is allowed. Guests must sign a waiver at check-in before pets are allowed in any guest room or public area. Pets are not allowed in the dining room during breakfast hours. Guests, as well as dogs, are permitted to dine on the outdoor decks and front porch. Pets are to be crated if left unattended in room. When in public areas, please have your pet on a leash at all times. Housekeeping services for rooms with pets require the pet owner to be present or the pet must be crated. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pet, excessive damages will be billed to guest.

McCaffrey Morning Room - Named for Elizabeth and Patrick McCaffrey, who purchased the home in 1898, this sunny room is the setting for a scrumptious gourmet breakfast featuring historic Inn recipes.
Goldtree Library - Named for Helena and Morris Goldtree, who built the house in 1887, the Goldtree Library is well stocked and is a relaxing place for conversation.

Emerald Isle The Luck of the Irish flourishes with Shamrocks and Lily of the Valley décor.  This room is located downstairs and features a private deck, Queen Size bed and the enjoyment of bathing in an old-fashioned Clawfoot tub/shower.
Valley of the Moon Jack London lives! The spirit of the West is captured in warm shades of tan, rust and green tucked away in a secluded corner of the Inn. This room is located downstairs, has a Queen Size bed and an antique Clawfoot tub/shower.
Walden Thoreau's beauty of nature emerges in the green of the forest, leaves of tan and serenity of blue shining waters. Expansive windows look out onto a massive deck. This room is located downstairs and has a Queen Size bed with a large bath/shower.
Edelweiss The Sound of Music comes alive within this Austrian themed room, The fireplace is one of the original althought the tile was added later. (Due to State and local regulations the fireplase is non operational.) The antique Clawfoot tub date back to the early 1900's.
Field of Dreams You will hear the crowds cheering as you delight in memorabilia of the sporting world of yesteryear. Gather 'round the fireplace or enjoy views of our expansive deck.  This room is located upstairs and has a Queen Size bed and an antique Clawfoot tub/shower.
Cocoon Butterflies soar freely around a classic fireplace to warm your evening. Delicate glows of pastel hues create an aura of geniality. This room is located upstairs, has a Queen Size bed and an antique Clawfoot tub/shower.
Amadeus San Luis Obispo is the proud home of a world-class Mozart Festival, recently renamed the Festival Mozaic to evoke  long-standing ties to the music of Mozart, as well as encompass the great variety of musical experiences the festival offers. Elegant rose wall covering and décor are reminiscent of Mozart’s 18th century era.  This room has a Queen Size bed along with a Jacuzzi tub/shower.
Ah Louis He made history for the Chinese on the Central Coast. The room is decorated with oriental splendor which reigns in rich tones of red, gold and black. Ah Louis is the only room in the Inn with a Queen Size bed and has a Soaking bathtub/shower. This room is located upstairs.
Our Town  Picturesque views can be savored above our town with mountains beyond. Our town is adorned with historic photos and artwork of our town San Luis Obispo. This room is located upstairs, has a Queen Size bed and a Jacuzzi bath/shower.

Concours d'Elegance A cozy cast-iron stove warms the sitting room focusing on the beauty and old-world charm of classic cars. Shades of burgundy, tan and red combine with grand pocket doors. Dollie McKeen She nurtured this grand dwelling from 1923 until her death in 1965. Her spirit lives on in gold, lavender and black architectural, floral and tweed decor around an ornate antique fireplace. Original stained-glass windows and a Soaking bathtub/shower are added features. This room is located downstairs, has a Queen Size bed, table with chairs, loveseat and a 27" flat screen television with Cable and HBO.
